The Canadian rock band Three Days Grace came to the Allsate Arena on the Alienation tour this past Monday with the returned of Adam Gontier who returned to the rock band in 2024. They bought along two bands on tour with them for the Alienation tour. The first band was The Funeral Portrait and the second band was I Prevail. The Funeral Portrait kicked off the night with an energetic and memorable opening set. From the moment they stepped on stage, the band brought a powerful sound that immediately grabbed the crowd’s attention.

The singer Lee Jennings stood out in particular. He delivered strong vocals while constantly moving around the stage, keeping the performance lively and engaging. His energy helped connect with the audience and made the set feel dynamic from start to finish. They also played some of their big songs like “Holy Water” and“Dark Thoughts,”which the fans clearly loved. The crowd reacted loudly and sang along, making those moments highlights of the set. Overall, The Funeral Portrait did a great job and delivered a strong performance that the fans really enjoyed.

I Prevail was the next band up. They brought a heavier, more hardcore rock sound to the stage. I Prevail delivered a powerful and energetic performance at the Allstate Arena, putting on a show that kept the crowd engaged from the moment they walked on stage. The band sounded tight and heavy, bringing their signature mix of hard rock and metalcore to the arena. Fans responded immediately, cheering loudly as the set began.

Lead singer Eric Vanlerberghe did a great job throughout the performance. His vocals were strong and aggressive, and he spent a lot of time interacting with the crowd and moving around the stage to keep the energy high. Dylan Bowman on guitar, Steve Menoian on guitar, Gabe Helguera on drums, and Jon Eberhard on bass all played extremely well and worked together perfectly to create a powerful live sound. Each member brought energy to the stage and helped make the performance feel intense and exciting.

One of the most memorable parts of the show was the pyro effects that went off during their songs. Large bursts of fire shot up from the stage, lighting up the arena and adding even more excitement to the performance. The combination of heavy music, bright lights, and fire effects made the show feel huge and dramatic.

By the end of their set, I Prevail had the entire arena fired up. Fans were cheering, singing along, and full of energy. They did an excellent job getting the crowd ready for the next band of the night, Three Days Grace, setting the stage for another big performance.

Three Days Grace closed out the night with a powerful headlining performance at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. Even though it was a Monday night, the arena was a packed house, showing just how excited fans were to see the band live. The crowd was loud and ready as soon as the lights went down and the band took the stage.

From the first song, Three Days Grace sounded great and brought a lot of energy to their performance. Matt Walst and Adam Gontier both did an excellent job on vocals, delivering strong performances and getting the crowd involved throughout the show. The rest of the band Brad Walst on bass, Barry Stock on guitar, and Neil Sanderson on drums also played really well and helped create a powerful sound that filled the arena. During the set, the band played some of their new songs including “Kill Me Fast,” “Mayday,”and a new one called “Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight.” Fans were excited to hear the new music, and the songs fit perfectly into the set. One of the most special moments during the song “Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight” photos appeared on the big screen showing the band growing up together over the years. The pictures gave fans a look back at the band’s journey and added a personal touch to the performance. The band played many of their big hits, and the fans loved every minute of it. People were singing along, cheering, and raising their hands during some of the biggest songs of the night. The energy in the arena stayed high from start to finish.

Overall, Three Days Grace put on an amazing show and proved why they are such a strong live band. It was the perfect way to end the night, and the packed crowd at the Allstate Arena showed just how much Chicago loves their music.
